I know I know I knoooowwww Real Estate! Sharonda WHAT IN THE WORLD is going on in this market right now? Why are prices SO bananas? Why are Interest Rates so high? Will they ever drop? Should I even buy right now? Do I need to sell a body part or even my Entire body (take it how you please #winkwink) to win an offer? Should I Sell my home right now? And MOST IMPORTANTLY! WHEN ARE YOU COMING BACK TO THE STATES? HOW CAN YOU HELP ME FROM GERMANY?

Listen Framily (Friends & Family lol), I’m no Real Estate Genius (I seriously AM), but I can’t predict the future. We all know ya girl is GOOD, I’ve accepted that and you should too, but I’m not a Conspiracy Theorist. So WHY are the prices so high and will they ever drop aren't questions I have guaranteed answers for. Sorry (insert tears here)!! To answer the WHAT IN THE WORLD is going on in this market? UUUMMM Prices are HIGH HIGH and when I was in the states I seriously thought it would only be skyrocketing prices with New Construction homes. I mean it made sense to me. Lumber and other materials became more expensive and that made their listings more expensive. As far as Resale homes….MY GOODNESS!! I didn’t see that one coming. I’ve NEVER seen the market this “HOT” and I’ve never heard so many overwhelming stories.

Let me say something to the Realtors and the Buyers Real Quick…

HUGE shoutout to all of the Realtors standing strong right now. I seriously pray y’all see some light REAL SOON! And to the Buyers, My GOD!!! I promise I pray for Buyers almost daily. Yes, I love people THAT MUCH, so yes I pray for them! Listen, the Home Buying Process is a lot different right now, but I promise the investment is worth it. Try to enjoy the experience as much as you can and trust your Realtor! Listen! If that last part is an issue for you, I CAN HELP YOU!!!! You should NOT be going through this process with someone you can not connect with.

Prices are High and Interest Rates are CRAY CRAY and unfortunately I have no answer for when these things will go down. I see the Instagram Reels and Videos with their assumptions, but we can’t get that here lol. Again, that’s just not my thing!! My thing IS making sure every client I come across gets the Real Estate experience they deserve. If you’ve been saving and planning for the day you make this kind of investment, you should ABSOLUTELY still buy now. That’s where your Favorite Mom Realtor comes in to make sure you have the most pleasant and knowledgeable Realtor by your side. Buying a home in this market right now isn’t simply saying “I want this house and I ain’t paying a penny over and I want this seller to do EVERYTHING I ask of them.” Buying a home in this market isn’t calling your parents and hearing their amazing story about how they bought their mansion for $50K back in the day. Buying a home right now isn’t even the same as buying 2 years ago so believe me AND your realtor when we say “things HAVE changED, things ARE changinING, and things will CONTINUE to change. And for this reason your Real Estate Agent matters.

Yes, even if you’re selling. Even when the market wasn’t so hot, we had Sellers more interested in the money they “think” they could save by not hiring a Realtor. I’m not here to say they were all wrong, but I am here to say, having a Knowledgeable Real Estate Agent while you make extra income from one of your biggest investments, will save you in more ways than just finances. You have all types of documents, fees/costs, dates/deadlines, terminology, attorneys, and much more to consider when weighing your options of selling your home alone.

Should you Sell right now? Absolutely, the market is super beneficial for sellers right now, you’d be insane not to take advantage of it. This is IF you were already considering selling or even renting. Just make sure you have a plan once your home is sold overnight lol. Yes, us Realtors can help you with that plan. The process doesn’t just stop at the sale, where's the family going? Where are you going? Are you cashing out on equity and using it to Rent or Buy? What are your financial goals for the profit you make off the sale of your home? Do you have enough equity to make a big enough profit for those plans? Gotta have a plan. Yes I know it sounds pretty simple to you but trust me, not everyone considers these things. So again, YES you should Sell your home, but I’m going to repeat it until you’re sick of me “your Real Estate Agent matters.”
